The pool itself is in great shape. The surrounding building and AC need a lot of help. Since the HVAC system is inoperable, the City is dependent on opening the bay doors to control air quality but that only works in the warmest months and that limits how many months it can operate. Having a working HVAC system would help tremendously with heating and chemical costs.
Since the pool building is closed so much of the time, moisture buildup has allowed for much rust to grow on the inside of the roof, specifically the roof bolts. It needs to be inspected thoroughly and rustproofed.
